The days are growing shorter and a bit colder.  Safety during your run should be on your mind now, and always.  Here are a few tips from the Journal & Courier about how to stay safe while running in the dark.  Personally, I wear a headlamp on my early morning runs and usually have some type of blinking light attached to my backside.  If you run with a dog, don’t forget that they need to be visible too.  Willa wears a reflective collar on our runs (shown below).
