Join us on September 23rd for the third annual Cupcake Run/Walk in West Lafayette. This will be a chip-timed 5K and 10K on a beautiful course. We will also be offering a short, untimed kids run of about 80 yards. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, participant medal and cupcake from Gigi’s! This race benefits the Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County. Our mission is to promote excellence in education and encourage classroom innovation by providing grants in academics and the arts to teachers in the public schools in Tippecanoe County.
RETURNING PARTICIPANTS: please note that due to popular request, we have moved the Kids run to occur prior to the 5K and 10K events.
NEW IN 2018: Want to support public education but can’t make it to the race? You can participate as a virtual runner, and we’ll mail you your bib, t-shirt, and medal!
SCHOOL PARTICIPATION CONTEST: If you are a teacher, student, or school employee, please indicate as such on your registration, as well as what school you represent. The fastest male teacher and the fastest female teacher will each receive an award. The school with the most participants will receive a traveling trophy. Help out your school and get as many friends/coworkers to participate and win that trophy!
PACKET PICKUP: Saturday Sept 22 from 2:00 – 7:00 pm at Gigi’s Cupcakes. 170 S Creasy Ln Ste 1710, Lafayette, IN 47905.
PACKET PICKUP: Sunday Sept 23 will open at 8:00 am at Cumberland Park.
COURSE: is the same as last year except we have removed the tight corkscrew turn and replaced it with a loop by a pond. We hope you like the updated course! Cupcake Route 2018
