I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather. Please remember when the temperature rises, it is important to hydrate, so carry water. Next week, June 5th, is the FIRST of our Trail Series races. This one will be a 5K race and will be timed, as well as the next two in the Series. The trail has been cleared by the Tippecanoe Parks Department since the flooding earlier this spring and is ready. Because we want to promote exercise and attract runners in and around Lafayette to these races, we have made a decision to LOWER the ENTRY FEE for this Series. The fee will now be $5/person, no exceptions. This is $7 LOWER than we originally published on the flyers so help us get the word out to the community. See updated flier here.

We are excited about this new Series and hope some of you that have never run on a trail will give it a try. Trail running is different than road running but it has so much to offer. The surfaces are easier on your legs, the scenery is amazing, it is cooler on the hot summer days and it is a change from road running. Hopefully we will many of you next Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM at Fort Ouiatenon for the start of this Series.

Keep Running and be happy!
